Edward J. Smith, President, has had significant board governance, financial advisory and capital markets experience in a broad range of industries and with virtually all types of securities and transactions. He is a seasoned professional with substantial advisory experience serving the needs of both domestic and international companies.

Mr. Smith has significant experience as a director of public companies and in the area of corporate governance. He is a board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and a faculty member of Board Advisory Services of the NACD. He is has been a director of four public companies, Global Imaging Systems, Fargo Electronics, ATS Corporation and Cognex Corporation. Global Imaging was acquired by Xerox in 2007. Fargo Electronics was acquired by Assa Abloy of Sweden in 2006. ATS was acquired by Salient Federal Solutions in 2012. Mr Smith is a at the National Association of Corporate Directors. He also taught a course entitled "The Corporate Board of Directors" at Yale University.
